ACAT2003 Computer Programming B

A two-hour seminar each week in Semester 2.
Prerequisite Satisfactory completion of Computer Programming 1.
Aim To acquire computer programming techniques for manipulating musical data.
Content Numeric conversion and bit logic.
The structure of a FORTH multitasking environment.
–Recursion.
–File 1/0.
–Dictionary searching and vectored execution.
–Extending the compiler.
–Creation and manipulation of data structures for musical and/or animation composition.
–Design and implementation of a simple music or animation application.
Assessment Assignments-100%.
