ACAT4001 Algorithmic Composition 2

A one-hour seminar per week in Semester 1.
Prerequsite Satisfactory completion of Electroacoustic Composition 3.
Aim To gain an advanced understanding of algorithms for generating musical data at both the micro– and macro–compositional levels.
Content Game theory. Fractals. Chaos. Cellular automata. Design and implementation of a composition by computer program.
